House of FabroSanz founder Sandi Mazibuko recognised with The Powerhouse Award
WomenCan honours Sandisiwe “Sandi” Mazibuko, founder of House of FabroSanz with the Powerhouse Award at the 3rd annual A Night of Mystery and WomenCan Awards for her entrepreneurial journey and contribution to African fashion while celebrating women who are confident, bold and unafraid to stand out.
The Powerhouse Award celebrates a woman who embodies relentless strength, unshakable fortitude, and an extraordinary commitment to her vision. Sandi was recognized by the 2025 recipient, DJ Zinhle.
During her acceptance speech, Mazibuko thanked DJ Zinhle for the love, encouragement and support they continue to give each throughout their entrepreneurship journey. “A heartfelt thank you to WomenCan for this recognition and for creating such an incredible platform that celebrates and honours women making an impact.”
The WomenCan Awards continue to serve as a platform that not only recognises excellence and celebrates the remarkable achievements of women but also amplifies the stories of women who are driving meaningful impact in their communities and industries.
“The Powerhouse Award celebrates the strength required to keep going when the journey is difficult. By telling the stories of women who have overcome obstacles and achieved against expectations, we remind other women that resilience is powerful and greatness can be built “through perseverance. At WomenCan, we believe every woman deserves a community that sees her, celebrates her and believes in her potential. Whether she is starting, rebuilding, leading, growing or redefining her next chapter, there is a place for her, says Tumi Mthembu.
By receiving The Powerhouse Award, Mazibuko joins a legacy of women who continue to break barriers, shift narratives, and create spaces where empowerment is not just spoken of, but lived.
