Red Bull symphonic 2026 is looking for South Africa’s next great Choir to take the Stage
An open call for vocalists and choirs to perform alongside Vocal Hue, Sun-El Musician, Dlala Thukzin, Chad Hendricks, and a full symphonic orchestra at Montecasino on 13 & 14 June
Red Bull Symphonic 2026 has already made history with a dual-headliner format and a record-breaking double sell-out. Now it’s making room for one more act and this one comes from the talented streets of South Africa.
Red Bull is calling on South Africa’s vocalists and choirs to audition for a place on the Symphonic stage. The winning group will join Vocal Hue choir and perform alongside Sun-El Musician, Dlala Thukzin, conductor Chad Hendricks, and a full symphonic orchestra across both nights of Afro House, Our Home at Montecasino on 13 and 14 June.
The choir has always been the heartbeat of Red Bull Symphonic, the element that turns an orchestral rearrangement into something you feel in your chest. Every note carries warmth, nostalgia, and a connection to the communal spirit that makes South African music unlike anything else on earth. This year, that heartbeat gets louder.
HOW TO ENTER
Assemble a choir of 4–8 members and record an a cappella video of your favourite Sun-El Musician or Dlala Thukzin track. Keep it under 90 seconds. Share the performance on your preferred social platform, tag #RedBullSymphonic, and the artists and submit your official entry via redbull.com/symphonicza The Choir Director will review all entries and select the winning group, who will then join the full Red Bull Symphonic rehearsal process and take the stage on both show nights.
Mzansi has the voices, Red Bull Symphonic has the stage, entries are open until the 30th of May.
